The CIPD reports that: 

  • 76% of employers in England agree that older workers’ experience is crucial to the success of an organisation. 
  • 79% state that older workers help in knowledge and skill sharing. 

“Now is the time for organisations to take advantage of the benefits of age-inclusive recruitment and people management practices. Based on the Centre for Ageing Better’s Good Recruitment for Older Workers (GROW) project findings, this guide, published in partnership with the Centre for Ageing Better and REC, is designed to provide practical suggestions for employers to become more age-inclusive.”
